Grape Expectations started in 1977 by Mike Temple and group of self-professed “food and wine geeks”. During the then-emerging Berkeley farm-to-table restaurant scene they wanted "in" as there were precious few quality-minded wine importers operating in California at this time. Their love for Wine and Food helped this boutique wine distriutor become a big player in the wine world.
